pinterest & blogging

ugh im trying so hard to blog more but sometimes theres just honestly nothing i feel like sharing (at least appropriate things)...but lately ive become quite obsessed with pinterest...all my perusing around the web and now a place i can bookmark everything!! and for some reason i find it so satisfying when i'll post something and its repinned and liked by a bunch of random yet equally fabulous girls...

also, not to sound sexist, but i feel like guys on pinterest is just weird...girls have such better taste then men do LOL (but dont you agree...)

i miss my noodle

today was my five month anniversary with georgia and i spent it fighting off the banging from the rude people upstairs...reading endless blogs of people that i feel like i now know through and through...eating corn dogs with my roommate...and missing my sister terribly....
this morning she called me with the worst news of taylor swift being cast as the role of eponine...i literally was in tears over this awful news and my sister was the only person that i knew if i picked up the phone and called, would be just as up in arms as i was...
its crazy that there are 7 years apart, but i feel like the older we get the more closer in age we really are...and as you can see from the pictures...we look strikingly alike...we just have a certain way of speaking, and making fun of our mom, that i honestly think only we understand...its not like we speak some crazy pig latin mumbo jumbo, but we probably could have a conversation in front of a large group of people and no one would have any idea what the hell we were talking about...and i love that...
dont get me wrong...i miss my mom...and i miss my friends...and im sure that i will have dedicated posts to them as well, but today, its my beautiful sister...

in 2011....i sucked...

...at blogging...ok...ok...i decided no new years resolutions just an attempt to try and blog more...so much has changed since my birthday post...lets see...well...this new york gal has moved to the dirty dirty...no im not in atlanta (although it seems like no one i know knows any other cities in georgia other than the ATL)...(i didnt really either)...i moved to Augusta...went back to school...changed my major...moved apartments...went back to new york for a few weeks...and now im back...

i celebrated all the holidays with my wonderful boyfriend and his family and friends...we had a great thanksgiving...he grew a ridiculous mustache...(in between i got to go to santacon in NYC (my favorite day)...spent an all day pajama day on christmas with his friends stopping by and joining in on dinner...and then an even more wonderful new years eve...the mustache was gone...there was a bonfire...jello shots...and champagne...i dont know what more i could ask for...

anyway...here's to a wonderful new year and hopefully lots of blog posts!!!!
